K&N Red Air Filter Cleaning Kit

The K&N 99-5050 kit was developed to clean the air filter of the K&N Inbox or Intake line.
With this kit, it is possible to clean and reuse the filter element, always maintaining the filtration quality and volume of air admitted to the engine.

Instructions for use:

Apply the cleaning solution to the entire surface of the filter, both inside and out. Let the cleaning solution work for at least 10 minutes.

Wash the filter under running water, always from the clean side to the dirty side.

Without pressure and using only the force of gravity, do not apply water from the dirty side to the clean side. This way, the clean side will not be contaminated.

After washing, remove excess water by gently tapping the filter against your hand.

Do not use compressed air or dryers.

The filter fibers are fragile and can be damaged if any forced drying system is used.

Allow the filter to air dry in the shade. After the filter is completely dry, apply the filter oil evenly and reinstall the filter in the vehicle.
